Default I light another cigarette...!!

As I walk down across the narrow lane,
Inside my heart is an utter pain
Staring at the long humid day,
I light another cigarette.
Burning my lips and burning my heart,
Little puffs of smoke, and full of vaporous hope

I am suddenly desperate, disgusted,
I crush my cigarette under my shoes.
I deem about the endeavor that was just worn out
And I light another cigarette.
Burning my lips and burning my heart,
These moments of pitiless domino effect

Depleted imaginings all crushed ruthlessly
Those entire ventures sinking unfortunately
How bitter these repercussions are, I think
Again I light another cigarette.
Burning my lips and burning my heart,
These vulnerable feelings slashing me apart

Moving back to life as I returned to work
Trying so much not to recall, moment just gone
Trying to induce myself to move on
And again here, I light another cigarette
Burning my lips and burning my heart
Little puffs of smoke, and full of vaporous hope
