| Explorer, You last visited: 08-30-2007 at 04:03 AM Well i havent driven down this road for quite a while now.....I felt like stopping by today and complete my four-season poem series in hub...I posted one about 'fall' last time...now time for winter....That time of year!!I apologize if I am being lil too harsher for winter even though I love winter of nepal(that good ol'fog..) “Its winter in my backyard” The sun is dim with no shade on the ground Hiding behind the clouds; gloomy around Sneaking out at times rays down the valley Lighting the plains, carving picture in its gallery. The fragile nature, getting hammered hard Once again its winter, out in my backyard. Naked trees with no vigor, standing tall and still Like a defeated soldier marching in the battlefield Lifeless they appear, woodpeckers peeling the skin Seeking the warmth, squirrels burrowing deep in The fragile nature, getting hammered hard Once again, its winter out in my backyard. The mountains getting blanketed by puffy snow They appear crispier; taller as they grow Steeper they go every inch of snow they get Run down like avalanche while they melt The fragile nature, getting hammered hard Once again its winter, out in my backyard. Cold northerly breeze blows killing prairies in plains Spreads across like wildfire churning all its remains The golden corn field turning into stacks of hay While mercury dips down further night and day The fragile nature, getting hammered hard Once again its winter, out in my backyard. The flocks of ducks shivering over the frigid lake Leaving trails of feathers behind while they skate Cat fish and trout hibernating underneath the slate Wild-geese preying them drilling holes with their beck The fragile nature, getting hammered hard Once again its winter, out in my backyard. The train whistles, penetrating inside the fog Smokes up the air while giving a sluggish hug The mob in the streets all covered in big thick fur The nature has moved its cycle, time for the winter The fragile nature, getting hammered hard Once again its winter, out in my backyard. | ||||||||

Fantastic piece of writings.... Honestly your lines are strong enough that I can visualize the pictures!!! I wish I can laze down and watch the things as you have in the following lines... The flocks of ducks shivering over the frigid lake Leaving trails of feathers behind while they skate Cat fish and trout hibernating underneath the slate Wild-geese preying them drilling holes with their beck | ||||||||

| yeah true!I respect your opinion. but i think love is not a feeling (entirely). Its more than feelings. Its like caterpiller and butterfly...caterpillers when they mature turn into butterflies but caterpillers are nothing like butterflies... so when feelings ripe-could generate love in long run!! and love is not optional but feelings could be..love is the foundation of life, while feelings just like the ripples in a lake..they are dynamic and ever-changing! but "good feelings are good indicators of love"... also-one might feel hatred towards the other person over a long run in any relationship....but its "love' that will keep them intact.....yeah i think love is more like multi-dymensional that includes many paradoxes(is that how'its spelled)... | ||||||||

| yeah our opinions for the word "love" probably differs.... i must say.... a butterfly is a caterpillar first... after its a butterfly.. it shouldnt forget its belonging... and a lotta times it does happen that we tend to forget where we belong...... sometimes the outcome is reasonable.. and a lotta times its not... its just the matter of where we stand and what our perspectives towards our goals are.... its not about if its a good feeling but about if there lies any feeling...be it good or bad... its not about the amount of hatred that is involved but about if there is even a pinch of something called "love" involved... its not about if it is multidimensional but about if there are any dimensions to it at all... its not about the way it ends..be it good or bad...but about the way it had started... its not about whether it continues in the same pace...but about the time that was spent together... its not about if it was dead...but about all that time it was alive... its not about if you sang for him/her...but about that every moment u thought about him/her its not about what u got back in return...but about what u gave.. or offered i must say... damn i could keep goin on..let me stop! <peace!
