THE GIRL WITH THE LOVELY BLACK HAIR The girl with the lovely black hair; oiled, combed, and braided with care. Young, native, and full of dreams; to show the world what a smile means. She knew what joy gives, She also knew what sadness takes, Still the future her eyes did save in a corner of her heart where noone could steal a look. Her reveries could last a whole lifetime But suddenly awakened was she; For it was not right to live her life, And also in dream be..... So wide awake, and in touch with reality; she saw the demands of society, Her dreams engulfed by ritual sounds, She was given to her lord- hesitant and bound. She now knows what joy can lose, She also knows what sadness takes, the future once saw is now lost somewhere in the fields..... where her bitter heart breaks, the girl with the lovely black hair- BROKEN, BARREN, AND BARE!!! HOPE YA'LL LIKED IT!!!  PEACE!!! | ||||||||
