Default What is Love & Marriage?

I just read this. Somebody has written very nicely. wanted to share with you guys:

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back. But the rule is: you can go thr ough them only once and cannot turn back to pick." The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realise that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted. So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "...this is love...

you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realise, you have already miss the person...."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked. The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher. The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... this is marriage.

Do you agree?

well, my perspective about love....

i dont think it is something that could be looked for.. or picked out... when it happens.. it just happens.. and u cant deny that it has happened, neither is it so easy to express it.... if love was smtg like choosing the biggest wheat in the field, love wouldnt have been tough!

but then again,
"better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all"

yeah right... marriage and satisfaction dont get along.. at one point or the other.. there are always some sort of arguments.. but then again.. doesnt mean the trust doesnt exist heheh

i read this in one of the books i recently read,
"My advice to you is get married: if you find a good wife you'll be happy; if not, you'll become a philosopher." - Socrates

hehehehe

but hey.. good one out there Immensed! keep it coming

<peace!

Well, i'm sorry sweetie but i dont agree with that . It might depend person to person and their relationship.. be it marriage or any other relationships. They do get along if you know how to carry them off..and it implies to any kind of relationship. I think we shudn't make "argument" just a single basis of judging whethere it is a satisfied marriage or not. There is not a single relationship which dosent have arguments it's just in which level you want to take that arguement...but i agree with your last line

its okay hun, u dont have to agree to everything i say.. or vice versa...

different people have different opinions on different matters.. its about how we look at things.. and its about what we've experienced through the journey so called "life".... that is exactly why i started my reply with "my perspective" ... i knew there were gonna be conflicts to my sentences.. and here's one already lol

u have a long way to go..and so do i.. lets see where life brings us.. i guess this is fair enough to be dealing with for the moment!

<peace!

I THINK LOVE AND MARRIAGE ARE SAME.ITS LIKE DRIVING THROUGH ONE WAY TRAFFICE.KUNAI NA KUNAI BELA ACCIDENT BHAI HALCHA
